Sequoyah High School has added 16 new teachers to the Chief Nation. They can be found everywhere from the science department to the language department and from the math department to the special education department. Three of our new Chiefs are Sequoyah graduates, and four are first time teachers. Sequoyah even obtained a teacher with experience from New Zealand. Some of our new additions walked over from Dean Rusk so students might recognize them. A few have been teaching for longer than some of us have been alive. Check out the gallery to meet our new Chiefs!

Kimberly Brassard – Brassard has taught for 14 years and came from Decatur High School. She finds that “being the new kid is always hard” but that overall she loves Sequoyah.
